Tulip 'Artist' pack of 7 bulbs

A tulip of real subtlety and charm, 'Artist' shows off soft, apricot-toned petals broadly flamed with green — the hallmark viridiflora streak that gives each bloom a painterly, hand-brushed quality quite unlike more conventional tulip colouring. It's an understated variety that rewards a closer look, working beautifully in mixed spring plantings where its gentle tones can play off bolder colours nearby.

At a petite 30cm in height, 'Artist' is compact enough to stand up well even in more exposed spots in the garden, where taller tulips might need extra support. Flowering from April into May, it suits borders, containers, and cutting gardens alike. Plant bulbs in autumn, around 10-15cm deep, in full sun and free-draining soil for the best display. Fully hardy, it needs no winter protection once planted.
