Collection: Anemone corms

Few spring flowers pack as much colour into so little effort as anemones. Their poppy-like blooms come in vivid scarlets, blues, purples and whites, often centred with a striking black boss, held on slender, wiry stems above delicate, ferny foliage. Easy to grow and long-flowering, they're equally at home naturalised in drifts, brightening the front of a border, or cut for the vase, where their unusually long stems make them a florist's favourite.

Soak the knobbly corms overnight before planting to speed up growth, then plant 5cm deep in well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Plant successionally from autumn through to early spring for months of continuous colour.
