Collection: Flowering Cherries

Few trees announce spring quite like a flowering cherry. Our collection brings together ornamental cherries for gardens of every size, from compact, upright forms for small spaces and containers to spreading specimen trees that make a real statement on a lawn. Expect clouds of single or double blossom in shades from pure white to deep pink. Many varieties add a second season of interest with rich autumn leaf colour or glossy, ornamental bark. Flowering cherries are easy to grow and do best in full sun in any reasonably fertile, well-drained soil. They are also a valuable early source of pollen and nectar for bees.
