Tildenet Biodegradable Pegs

A greener way to pin down your garden coverings, these biodegradable pegs from Tildenet are made from non-GM starch and break down naturally over time. They are ideal for securing biodegradable mulch films, fleece, netting and other lightweight covers on vegetable beds and seasonal plantings, and once the season is over they can simply be dug or tilled into the soil rather than pulled up and thrown away.

Push each peg through the edge of your material into moist, well-worked soil, spacing them evenly to stop wind getting underneath. As they are designed to be compostable rather than rigid, they are best suited to soft or cultivated ground; for hard, stony or compacted soil, water the area first or make a pilot hole before inserting.
