Taylors Bulbs Tulips `Dwarf Mixed` (12)

A cheerful, no-fuss way to bring early colour to the garden, this Dwarf Mixed collection combines short-stemmed tulips in a vibrant assortment of colours — perfect for a splash of variety without having to choose just one shade. Their compact, sturdy habit means they're wonderfully weather-resistant, standing up well even in exposed spots or lingering frost pockets in early spring.

Reaching around 20cm, these dwarf tulips are ideally suited to pots and containers, though they also work beautifully planted near hedges, trees or walls, where their rich colours draw the eye. They pair well with other unusual bulbs — try layering with a scented double narcissus such as 'Cheerfulness' for a striking, multi-layered display.

Plant bulbs in autumn, in well-drained but moist, humus-rich soil, which these adaptable little tulips tolerate across a broad range of soil types. As with all tulips, bulbs and sap can be harmful if eaten and may irritate skin, so gloves are recommended when handling.

Each bulb is hand-selected before dispatch.
