Tulip 'Purple Circus' 7 bulbs

Tulip 'Purple Circus' (7 Bulbs)

A striking Fringed-group tulip, 'Purple Circus' produces flowers that change character as they mature — opening pale yellow with reddish-magenta streaks before developing into a bright white bloom swirled and feathered with rich magenta-purple, each flower slightly different from the last. The finely serrated, ice-crystal edges to the petals give the display an extra touch of drama and refinement.

Flowering in April to May, this variety reaches an upright height of around 40cm, making it a striking addition to borders, containers or cut flower arrangements. Its bold, ever-changing colouring works well as a talking-point planted through calmer, single-colour tulips, or massed on its own for full impact.

Plant bulbs in autumn, 10–15cm deep, in fertile, well-drained soil with shelter from strong winds and protection from excessive winter wet.
