Narcissus 'Replete' 5 bulbs

Narcissus 'Replete' (5 Bulbs)

A double daffodil of real distinction, 'Replete' produces lavish, fully double blooms up to 10cm across, with layers of pure white petals interspersed with crumpled, peachy-pink and coral corona segments. The effect is more peony or camellia than classic daffodil, giving a full, ruffled flower that brings real opulence to spring planting. A light, sweet fragrance adds further appeal, both in the garden and as a cut flower.

Flowering in mid to late spring, 'Replete' reaches a height of around 45cm on strong, upright stems that hold the heavy blooms well, though a sheltered spot is best in particularly windy or exposed positions. It suits borders, cottage-garden schemes and containers, and works well planted in bold drifts for naturalising in grass.

Plant bulbs in autumn at one and a half to two times their own depth, in moderately fertile, well-drained soil that stays reliably moist through the growing season, in full sun or partial shade.
