Taylors Bulbs Tulips `Carola` (7)

Bold and romantic, Tulip 'Carola' brings rich, deep pink colour to the spring border. Classic single, cup-shaped blooms in a striking magenta-pink hold their shape beautifully, making this Triumph tulip an elegant choice for both garden displays and cutting for the vase.

Flowering in April and May on sturdy stems reaching around 40cm, Carola is a reliable mid-season performer, equally at home in beds, borders and containers. It looks particularly stunning planted en masse or in drifts through a "river" of blue muscari, and is a favourite for underplanting roses.

Plant bulbs in autumn, around 10cm deep and 10cm apart, in well-drained soil in a sunny position. As with all tulips, bulbs and sap can be harmful if eaten and may irritate skin, so gloves are recommended when handling.

Each bulb is hand-selected before dispatch.
