Sedum cauticola 'Lidakense' – also known as Cliff Stonecrop – is a charming, low-growing succulent perennial prized for its rounded, penny-like blue-grey leaves, often tinged with pink. In late summer and into autumn, the trailing stems are topped with clusters of showy, star-shaped flowers in a rich ruby-pink, creating a lovely contrast against the glaucous foliage. Recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, it's valued for its reliable performance and long season of interest.

Forming a flattish, carpet-like mound, this slow-spreading variety reaches a height of around 8–15cm with a spread of 20–30cm, making it an excellent choice for rockeries, the front of a border, or containers, where its foliage and flowers can be enjoyed at close range throughout the season.

Sedum 'Lidakense' thrives in full sun to partial shade, in free-draining, gritty soil, and is drought-tolerant and fully hardy once established. Wonderfully low-maintenance, it dies back to the crown over winter before regrowing fresh each spring, and its late-season flowers are a valuable source of nectar for bees and other pollinators.

Each Sedum cauticola 'Lidakense' has been carefully hand-selected to ensure it reaches you in excellent condition, ready to bring its striking foliage and colour to your garden.
