Scabiosa incisa 'Kudo White ' 3Ltr

A pretty, mound-forming perennial that flowers with real generosity. Wiry stems rise above finely divided, grey-green foliage, each carrying delicate white pincushion-like flowerheads that open in succession right through the summer and into early autumn. Larger-flowered than many other scabious varieties, it's a lovely addition to the front of a sunny border, gravel garden, or patio container, and makes an excellent long-lasting cut flower. Reaching around 45cm in height and 30-50cm in spread, it's shorter and more compact than many scabious, making it well suited to smaller spaces.

Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil in full sun or light partial shade, protecting from excessive winter wet. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering, but leave the last flush of blooms to form seedheads for winter interest and to attract garden birds.

Each plant is hand-selected for healthy, vigorous growth before it leaves us.
