Prunus pen Ascendens Rosea — 12L Container

Prunus pendula 'Ascendens Rosea' is a slender, vase-shaped cherry with shell-pink single flowers opening from red buds in April, before the leaves. A long-lived ornamental cherry with good autumn colour, it holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.

It grows to around 3m x 2m after 10 years. Plant in full sun in well-drained soil; it tolerates most soils, including chalk and clay. Little pruning is needed, but any that is required should be done in summer, when the risk of silver leaf is lowest.
