Prostanthera 'Rosetta' 2ltr

Also known as the Alpine Mint Bush, Prostanthera 'Rosetta' brings a touch of the exotic to the garden with its finely textured, aromatic foliage and profusion of bubblegum-pink, bell-shaped flowers. Native to Australia, this compact evergreen shrub forms a neat, rounded mound of small, mint-scented leaves that release their fragrance with the lightest touch, making it a lovely addition to a sensory garden or any spot where it can be brushed in passing.

From late spring into summer, 'Rosetta' produces a generous flush of soft pink to mauve blooms that smother the foliage, drawing in butterflies and other pollinating insects. Reaching a modest 60cm in height and 90cm in spread, it's a versatile shrub well suited to mixed borders, rockeries, or a large container on a sunny patio, where its aromatic foliage can be appreciated up close.

For the best display, plant in a sheltered, sunny position with well-drained soil, as this Australian native prefers drier conditions and can be sensitive to excess winter wet. In more exposed or colder gardens, growing 'Rosetta' in a pot allows it to be moved under cover during the harshest weather.
