Platycodon 'Pink' 12cm

A true garden charmer, Platycodon 'Pink' – commonly known as the Balloon Flower – earns its name from the plump, balloon-like buds that swell before bursting open into star-shaped, soft pink blooms. Each flower unfurls with delicate veining and a gentle sheen, creating a soft, romantic display that lasts from mid to late summer.

Forming neat, upright clumps of blue-green foliage, this compact herbaceous perennial reaches a height and spread of around 50cm, making it perfectly at home in cottage borders, gravel gardens, or containers on a sunny patio. It's a wonderfully reliable plant, dying back tidily in autumn and returning with fresh growth each spring, offering years of colour with minimal fuss.
