Photinia x fra Carré Rouge — 12L Container

Photinia x fraseri 'Carré Rouge' is a compact, upright evergreen with brilliant red young leaves, more intensely coloured than the classic 'Red Robin'. The new growth matures to glossy green, and clusters of creamy white flowers appear in April and May. It takes hard pruning and shaping well, making it ideal for formal planting.

It grows to around 2.5m x 2.5m after 10 years. Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained, neutral to acid soil. Trim in spring and again in summer to encourage fresh flushes of red growth.
