Malus Red Obelisk® — 12L Container

Malus Red Obelisk® is a slim, upright crab apple ideal for small gardens and narrow spaces. Pink buds open to white blossom in April, and the purplish-brown young leaves mature to dark green. Conical red crab apples follow in autumn and are good for jelly-making.

It reaches around 3m x 1m after 10 years. Grow in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil; clay is tolerated. It is self-fertile and an excellent pollinator for nearby apple trees, and needs very little pruning beyond removing any damaged growth in late winter.
