Malus Louisa — 12L Container

Malus 'Louisa' is one of the best weeping crab apples, forming a graceful umbrella of branches. Rose-coloured buds open to true pink blossom in April among glossy dark green leaves, followed by small lemon-gold fruits that ripen to golden orange and last well into autumn. Disease resistant and ideal as a lawn specimen.

It grows to around 3m x 2m after 10 years. Grow in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil; clay is tolerated. It is self-fertile and an excellent pollinator for nearby apple trees, and needs very little pruning beyond removing any damaged growth in late winter.
