Lysimachia nummularia aurea 1L

A very vigorous, evergreen perennial forming a wide, low mat of trailing stems, just 5-10cm in height but spreading indefinitely as it roots along the leaf nodes. The small, rounded golden-yellow leaves brighten to their best colour in full sun, while bright yellow, cup-shaped flowers appear in the leaf axils through summer.

An excellent ground cover for damp soil, this AGM-winning cultivar is equally at home spilling over the edge of containers and hanging baskets, trailing over walls, or used as edging near bog gardens and pond margins. It thrives in humus-rich, moisture-retentive soil in full sun or partial shade.
