Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight' 20ltr

A striking panicle hydrangea, 'Limelight' is a robust, upright deciduous shrub with dark green foliage and dense, conical flower panicles that open pale lime green in mid to late summer, gradually turning creamy white before a pink flush deepens through autumn, giving a beautiful blend of pink and green tones as the season progresses. The huge, sturdy flower heads hold their shape well and are excellent for cutting, both fresh and dried.

Left unpruned, this vigorous shrub can reach 2–2.5m in height and spread, though it responds well to annual pruning if a more compact size is preferred. Grow in full sun or partial shade in any well-drained soil, ideally moist and humus-rich — it's a tough, adaptable plant that tolerates exposed sites well. Prune back hard each March, cutting stems to a few buds above the base, as flowers are produced on the current season's growth; this keeps the shrub a manageable size and encourages larger, more impressive blooms.
