Blended from quality loam, peat, sharp sand, and a generous level of fertiliser, this compost provides the sustained nutrition and structural stability that larger, hungrier plants demand. The substantial loam content gives real weight to pots and containers, helping to anchor top-heavy specimens and prevent them toppling in windy spots, while also holding moisture and nutrients reliably over an extended growing period.

Ideal for mature shrubs, trees, and permanent container specimens such as bay trees, box, and other long-term plantings, this compost supports the sustained growth these plants need to establish and thrive over successive seasons.

How to use: Pot on into a container with good drainage holes, firming well around the rootball, and water in thoroughly. Feed with a balanced liquid feed during the growing season once the initial fertiliser is depleted, and top-dress annually in spring to replenish nutrients in permanent plantings.
