Its moisture-retentive structure is designed to cope with the quick drying-out that pots and baskets are prone to, especially in the height of summer.

Blended for the demands of container growing, this compost combines good water retention with free drainage, helping prevent both the compost drying out too quickly and the waterlogging that can lead to root problems in a confined space. An included balanced feed gives plants a strong start, supporting healthy root development and vigorous, colourful growth in the weeks after planting.

Ideal for patio pots, window boxes, hanging baskets, and all manner of container displays, this compost works equally well for bedding plants, patio vegetables, and permanent container specimens.

How to use: Fill your container, firming gently as you go, and plant up as normal. Water in well after planting, and once the initial feed is used up after several weeks, switch to a liquid feed to keep displays flowering and growing strongly through the season.
