Give your borders a natural, professional finish with Growmoor Chipped Bark. This attractively textured bark mulch is ideal for suppressing weeds, retaining soil moisture, and insulating plant roots against extremes of temperature, while adding a neat, rustic backdrop that shows off your planting to best effect.

Sourced from sustainably managed forestry and screened to a consistent chip size, this bark breaks down slowly over time, gradually improving soil structure and adding organic matter as it does so. It's equally at home around trees, shrubs, and mixed borders, along woodland paths, or as a low-maintenance ground cover in areas prone to weed growth.

Coverage: A 60 litre bag covers approximately 6 square metres at a 1cm depth, or 3 square metres at 2cm — the recommended depth for effective weed suppression.

How to use: Apply to moist, weed-free soil in a layer around 5-7cm deep, keeping bark clear of plant stems and tree trunks to prevent rot. Top up annually as the mulch naturally breaks down.
