Deco-Pak Green Slate

Cool, layered and full of natural character, Green Slate brings a calm, earthy finish to borders, beds and water features. The flat, angular pieces are mostly soft green, with hints of grey, plum or blue running through them. They darken and take on a lovely sheen when wet.

At around 40mm, this is a chunkier slate that adds bold texture to ground cover, rockeries and planting schemes. It works particularly well alongside grasses, ferns and alpines. Laid as a mulch, it helps suppress weeds and hold moisture in the soil, and it makes an attractive dressing around ponds and water features. Rinse before use to wash away any quarry dust. For the best results, lay at a depth of 40–50mm over a weed-control membrane.

As a natural product, each batch will vary slightly in size, shape and colour.
