Gratiola officinalis 1ltr

A dainty herbaceous perennial with slender, upright stems and neat, narrow leaves in opposite pairs. From late spring into summer, delicate tubular white to pale pink flowers appear in the leaf axils, adding subtle colour and structure to the pond edge. An excellent marginal for shallow water or boggy ground, offering valuable cover for froglets and emerging dragonflies. Reaches around 25–40cm in height with a similar spread. Grows well in full sun to part shade, in reliably moist to wet soil or shallow water up to 5cm deep. Low maintenance — simply trim to tidy and cut back once foliage dies down in autumn.
