Deco-Pak Chelsea Horti Clay Pebbles Pouch

Lightweight, porous and warm terracotta in colour, these clay pebbles are a houseplant and container essential. They’re as practical as they are good-looking, giving pots a clean, natural finish that suits both modern and traditional displays.

Part of Deco-Pak’s Chelsea Horticultural range, the pebbles are made from fired clay. Their porous structure soaks up water and releases it slowly, so they suit a whole range of growing jobs. Add a layer to the base of pots and planters to improve drainage and stop roots sitting in water. Use them as a top dressing to keep in moisture and discourage fungus gnats on houseplants, or stand pots on a tray of damp pebbles to raise the humidity around moisture-loving plants such as ferns and orchids. They also work as a growing medium for hydroponics and semi-hydro setups. Because they’re so light, they’re ideal for hanging baskets and roof or balcony containers where weight matters. The handy pouch is easy to store and pour, and the packaging is made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic.
