An exceptionally beautiful English shrub rose bred by David Austin and introduced in 2018, named at the request of the Brontë Society to mark the bicentenary of the novelist's birth. Bears distinctive, neat, rather flat blooms in a lovely soft pink, the smaller central petals deepening to rich apricot around a button eye that gradually unfurls to reveal deep-set stamens. The fragrance opens as a strong Tea scent before developing into something closer to Old Rose, with delicious hints of lemon and grapefruit. Forms a bushy shrub with strong, healthy, upright growth and good disease resistance. Flowers prolifically from early summer through to autumn. Versatile in the garden — well suited to a mixed border, pots and containers, or a rose hedge, and tolerant of some shade. Reaches around 125cm in height with a 110cm spread.
Each rose is hand-selected to reach you in the best possible condition.
