Daphne odora x bholua 'Perfume Princess White' 2ltr

A striking white-flowered form of the popular Perfume Princess hybrid, this evergreen shrub is prized for its large, non-yellowing glossy foliage and generous clusters of pure white flowers borne all down each stem from late winter into early spring. The blooms are notably larger than those of Daphne odora species, releasing a delicious, sweetly citrus scent that intensifies as the flowers open in succession along the stems — making it a real showstopper in the dullest months of the garden year.

Reaching around 1.2–1.5m in height with a spread of up to 1m, it forms an upright, robust shrub well suited to borders, sheltered patios, or large containers near a doorway where the fragrance can be fully enjoyed. Grow in full sun to partial shade in a slightly acidic, well-drained soil, and avoid waterlogged conditions. Prune lightly in spring or after flowering to maintain a neat shape, and once established the plant is reasonably drought-tolerant, though it will appreciate a little extra water during dry spells.
