Dahlia 'La Bella Grande Chocolate Red'

A striking addition to the late-summer border, this dahlia produces bold, richly-coloured blooms in deep chocolate-red tones that hold their colour beautifully from midsummer right through to the first frosts. Best planted in a sunny, sheltered spot in fertile, well-drained soil, and staked as it grows to support the weight of its large flowers. Deadhead regularly to keep the blooms coming, and lift and store the tubers over winter in colder gardens. A fantastic cut flower for the vase as well as a real showstopper in the garden.
