Cyperus alternifolius 1ltr

A striking architectural sedge with slender, upright stems topped by whorls of narrow, leaf-like bracts that fan out like umbrella spokes. Small brown flower spikelets appear from summer into autumn. A brilliant choice for pond margins, bog gardens or as a container specimen on a damp patio, bringing a lush, tropical feel to the garden. Reaches 50cm–1m in height with a spread of 10–50cm. Thrives in full sun to partial shade in reliably moist to wet, loamy soil — it won't tolerate drying out, so pond-edge or boggy conditions suit it best. Hardy in sheltered spots.
