Croton `Sunshiners'(Codiaeum)

Croton 'Sunshiners' (Codiaeum variegatum)

Bring a burst of tropical colour indoors with Croton 'Sunshiners', prized for its bold, leathery leaves splashed in vivid combinations of yellow, orange, red, and deep green. No two leaves are ever quite the same, giving each plant its own painterly, one-of-a-kind character — a real talking point on a windowsill, shelf, or as a striking accent among other houseplants.

Crotons are true light-lovers: the brighter the spot, the more intense and vibrant the colouring will be, so a bright, indirect light position suits it best, with some gentle direct morning or evening sun a bonus rather than a risk. Keep the soil lightly moist through the growing season, allowing the top to dry slightly between waterings, and reduce watering in winter. As a native of humid, tropical regions, it appreciates regular misting to keep its glossy leaves looking their best and to guard against dry, browning tips. Feed monthly during spring and summer, and keep it away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes, which crotons dislike.

Each plant is hand-selected before dispatch.
