Cornus kousa 'White Fountain' — 12L Pot

'White Fountain' lives up to its name: a vigorous, vase-shaped small tree that produces such a profusion of pure white flower bracts in June that the flowering branches gracefully arch downward under their own weight, creating a genuinely fountain-like cascade. Pointed, oval green foliage provides a fresh backdrop through summer before turning a rich brick-red with tones of pink and gold in autumn, and if the flowers are pollinated, small red-pink, raspberry-like fruits follow, much loved by birds.

Best in a sheltered spot in full sun, in moist, well-drained, neutral to acid soil — it's not suited to shallow chalk. Compact and easy to grow, it reaches around 3m in both height and spread over 10–20 years, making it an excellent specimen for smaller gardens and courtyards, where its arching flower display can be seen up close.
