Miscanthus sinensis 'Adagio' 2Ltr

An elegant, compact ornamental grass with fine, silvery-green foliage and a graceful, arching habit. Long, narrow leaves form a neat, rounded mound through the growing season, turning warm shades of orange and yellow in autumn. From summer into autumn, tassel-like flower plumes rise above the foliage, opening pink-tinged and gradually fading to a soft creamy white, remaining attractive well into winter. This variety holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit, recognising its outstanding garden performance.

This compact, clump-forming deciduous grass reaches a height of up to 1.25–1.5m (4–5ft), with a spread of 0.5–1m (1½–3¼ft), making it a versatile choice for smaller gardens, containers, or as a graceful backdrop within a mixed border. It grows in any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun, and tolerates coastal and urban conditions well.
