Anemone De Caen Mixed 20 corms

The De Caen anemones are old cutting-garden favourites, bred in France for their vivid, poppy-like single flowers in a rich mix of scarlet, blue, purple and white, each with a striking black central boss. Held on slender, wiry stems above delicate, ferny foliage, they bring a real jolt of colour to spring borders and make superb cut flowers, lasting well once picked.

Reaching around 20-30cm in height with a spread of 15-20cm, De Caen corms are best soaked overnight before planting to kick-start growth, then planted 5cm deep in well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Plant in succession from autumn through to early spring for a long, staggered display of flowers from mid-spring onwards.
