Iris reticulata 'Clairette' 10 bulbs

A charming dwarf iris with a delicate, painterly touch, Iris reticulata 'Clairette' produces pale blue flowers with white throats, gently speckled with blue and finished with striking royal-blue tips on each fall. Appearing in early spring above narrow, mid-green foliage, it's a beautifully understated variety for the front of borders, rockeries or troughs, where its subtle detailing can be properly appreciated up close.

Reaching around 12cm in height, 'Clairette' is best planted in early autumn in well-drained soil in full sun. Like other reticulata irises, it thrives where the soil dries out over summer, making it a natural fit for gravel gardens, raised beds and pots. Left undisturbed, the bulbs will slowly multiply into generous clumps over the years.
