Catharanthus Soiree Hot Pink 1ltr

A compact, bushy annual with glossy, dark green foliage and an abundance of vivid, hot-pink, star-shaped flowers that cover the plant continuously from summer right through to the first frosts. Part of the popular Soirée series, it's especially valued for its excellent heat tolerance and disease resistance, keeping up a strong, uninterrupted flowering display through the warmest, driest stretches of summer with very little fuss. Its neat, mounding habit makes it a reliable choice for bedding schemes, borders, and containers alike.

Reaching around 15–45cm in height and spread, it does best in full sun to light shade, in well-drained, peat-free compost or loamy soil. Water moderately and evenly, avoiding wetting the foliage where possible, as good air circulation and drainage help keep fungal problems at bay; superior drainage is really the key to success with this plant. Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertiliser through the growing season to keep flowering strong. As a tender, frost-sensitive plant, it won't survive a UK winter outdoors, so it's typically grown as a single-season summer bedding plant, though it can be brought under cover as a houseplant if you'd like to try overwintering it.

Each plant is hand-selected before dispatch to ensure it reaches you in the best possible condition.
