Carex oshimensis 'Evergold' 3Ltr

An evergreen sedge with long, arching leaves striped with creamy yellow and edged in deep green, forming a graceful clump to around 30cm in height and spread that doesn't spread invasively. Brown flower spikes appear in summer but are largely inconspicuous — it's the foliage that does the work here, brightening containers, border edges, and shady corners year-round. This variety has earned the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its reliable garden performance.

Care: Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in partial shade, though it also tolerates full sun. Comb through the clump in winter to remove any dead or tatty foliage — no hard pruning needed.
