Buddleja Butterfly Candy 'Little Ruby' C3

A compact, dwarf buddleja bred for smaller gardens without compromising on the classic butterfly-bush appeal. From midsummer to early autumn, 'Candy Little Ruby' produces an abundance of dense, fragrant ruby-red flower spikes above attractive grey-green foliage, drawing in butterflies and bees in impressive numbers. Its neat, well-branched habit means it stays tidy and in proportion, making it far more manageable than traditional buddleja varieties.

Grow in full sun in any moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Perfect for smaller borders, patio containers, or as part of a wildlife-friendly planting scheme where space is at a premium. Prune back hard in early spring to encourage strong new growth and maximise flowering, and deadhead spent blooms through the season to prolong the display.
