Anagalis tenella 1ltr

A charming British native, forming a dense, low carpet of tiny evergreen leaves that spreads gently across damp ground. From late spring into summer it produces a profusion of small, cup-shaped, dusky pink flowers, opening fully in sunshine and closing again by evening. Perfect for softening pond edges and stitching together bog gardens, providing ground-level shelter for insects and amphibians. Reaches just 10cm in height with a spread of up to 40–50cm. Best in full sun, in consistently moist, slightly acidic soil or the very shallow margins of a pond, level with the water surface.
