Miscanthus sinensis 'Kleine Silberspinne' – whose name translates as 'Little Silver Spider' – is a compact, award-winning ornamental grass prized for its fine, arching foliage and graceful, feathery plumes. The narrow, dark green leaves are marked with a distinctive silvery-white midrib, turning warm reddish-orange and straw tones as autumn arrives. In late summer, upright, rose-tinted flower plumes emerge above the foliage, maturing to a soft brown and providing striking structure and colour well into winter.
