Malus Golden Gem — 12L Container

Malus 'Golden Gem' produces clouds of large clusters of fragrant, blush-white blossom in April, followed by an abundance of small, bright yellow crab apples in autumn. The fruits are ideal for jellies and jams, or can be left for the birds. Disease resistant and an outstanding pollinator for apple trees.

It grows to around 4m x 3m after 10 years. Grow in full sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil; clay is tolerated. It is self-fertile and an excellent pollinator for nearby apple trees, and needs very little pruning beyond removing any damaged growth in late winter.
