Daphne x transatlantica 'Pink Fragrance' 2L

A compact, rounded shrub prized for its exceptionally long flowering season and intoxicating scent, 'Pink Fragrance' produces deep pink buds that open to delicate pink blooms flushed white, appearing in flushes from spring right through to autumn. Its small, lance-shaped leaves are semi-evergreen, giving the plant structure and interest well beyond its flowering period. Perfect planted near a doorway, path, or patio where its perfume can be fully appreciated.

Reaching around 90cm in height and spread, this neat, slow-growing shrub suits containers, the front of borders, or smaller gardens where space is at a premium. Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil that's slightly acid to slightly alkaline, in sun or partial shade. Mulch around the base to keep the roots cool, and avoid moving the plant once established, as daphnes generally dislike being transplanted.
