Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light' 3Ltr

A wonderfully refined ornamental grass, prized for its slender, fine-textured foliage and elegant, upright habit. Narrow green leaves are finely edged with white, giving the whole clump an airy, silvery appearance that seems to glow when backlit by low sun. In autumn, pink-tinged flower panicles rise gracefully above the foliage, fading to a soft cream as the season progresses. This variety holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit, recognising its outstanding garden performance.

This compact deciduous grass reaches a height of 1–1.5m (3¼–5ft), with a spread of 0.5–1m (1½–3¼ft), making it well suited to smaller gardens, courtyards, and mixed borders where its refined, light form can really stand out. It grows in any moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun, and tolerates exposed, coastal positions well.
