Rudbeckia 'Goldblitz' 3L

A bright, reliable border perennial that delivers a bold burst of late-season colour. Bushy, clump-forming plants send up branching stems clothed in coarsely toothed green leaves, topped from midsummer into autumn with classic daisy-like flowers - golden yellow petals surrounding a striking dark brown central cone. An improved selection bred to flower several weeks earlier than the popular 'Goldsturm', it forms neat clumps to around 60cm in height and 45cm in spread, making it a dependable choice for sunny borders, cottage gardens and pollinator-friendly planting.

Grow in moderately fertile, evenly moist soil in full sun for the best flowering, though established plants tolerate some drought. Divide every three to five years to maintain vigour and keep clumps flowering well.
