Rose 'Unique Aroma'

True to its name, this rose is the fragrant jewel of the Sense of Love collection, prized for an unusually strong and distinctive scent built around notes of anise, apple and lemon. Its very double, richly petalled flowers open a vivid bright pink before softening to a delicate pale pink as they age, giving each plant a beautiful, ever-changing display of colour throughout the season. Blooms appear in generous clusters on a strong, upright bush, filling the surrounding air with fragrance all summer long.

Vigorous and floriferous, 'Unique Aroma' is a reliable performer that's easy to care for. It grows best in a sunny to lightly shaded spot, in fertile, free-draining soil kept consistently moist but never waterlogged. A light trim in autumn followed by a proper prune in spring will encourage strong, healthy growth, with feeding recommended at pruning time and again after the first flush of flowers.

Reaching 50–60cm (20–24in) in height and spread, this rose is a lovely choice for beds, borders and containers, and combines beautifully with other Sense of Love varieties for a garden filled with colour and scent.
