Rose 'Perpetually Yours'

A vigorous, free-flowering climber bred by Harkness, 'Perpetually Yours' produces large, fully double blooms of up to 80 petals in a beautiful creamy colour with soft hints of lemon and yellow at the centre. Each quartered flower unfurls slowly and lasts well on the plant, releasing a light, refreshing lemon fragrance. True to its name, this rose flowers continually from summer right through into early autumn, offering months of interest against a backdrop of rich, glossy dark green foliage.

Dense and full of natural vigour, this variety is superb for training up pillars, walls, trellises, arbours and fences, where it provides excellent, long-lasting cover. It's a wonderfully low-maintenance climber, requiring only a sunny position and free-draining, fertile soil kept moist but never waterlogged. A light trim in autumn followed by a proper prune in spring will keep growth strong and encourage continued flowering, with a feed at pruning time and again after the first flush of blooms.

Reaching an impressive 3–3.5m (10–12ft) in height, 'Perpetually Yours' is perfect for adding height and romance to cottage-style gardens and traditional borders alike.
