Hippuris vulgaris 1ltr Oxygenator

A hardy British native oxygenating pond plant, forming upright, bottlebrush-like stems of narrow, whorled green foliage that rise straight out of the water. Growing to around 30cm, it's a striking, architectural addition to pond margins, adding structure while also helping to keep pond water clear and healthy.

Fully hardy throughout the UK, Mare's Tail is best planted in an aquatic basket using aquatic compost, topped with gravel, with the crown sitting up to 15cm below the water's surface. It thrives in full sun or partial shade and provides excellent cover for fish and other pond wildlife.
