A superb, versatile English rose that can be grown as either a large shrub or a short climber, with long, slightly arching, almost thorn-less growth. The large, full blooms open mid-pink at the centre, softening to paler tones towards the outer petals, each one packed with over 100 neatly arranged petals in a slightly domed, rosette form. A continuous, repeat-flowering bloomer from late spring through to autumn, with a delicious old rose fragrance. Tough and disease-resistant, making it a reliable choice for the back of a mixed border, or trained up a wall, fence, obelisk, or pillar as a short climber. Named to celebrate the 60th birthday of the world-famous flautist Sir James Galway. As a shrub, reaches around 1.5m in height and spread; as a trained climber, up to 3.75m in height with a 3m spread.
Each rose is hand-selected to reach you in the best possible condition.
