Anemone Blanda Mix 35 corms

Few bulbs bring spring to life quite like Anemone blanda. Also known as the Grecian windflower, this charming little tuber produces a carpet of daisy-like blooms in shades of blue, pink and white, opening wide on sunny days and closing again at dusk. Planted in generous drifts beneath trees, along borders or naturalised in grass, they create a soft, informal haze of colour just as the garden is waking up.

Reaching around 10-15cm in height and spread, Anemone blanda is wonderfully easy-going. Plant the knobbly tubers 5cm deep in autumn, in well-drained soil in sun or light shade — soaking them overnight beforehand helps speed up rehydration and germination. Once established, they spread readily to form a dependable, low-maintenance display that returns and thickens up year after year.
