The flesh is white, sweet, juicy and lightly aromatic — excellent eaten fresh, and equally good cooked, holding some texture rather than collapsing to a purée, making it a great choice for pies and crumbles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eFlowers in mid-season (pollination group 3) and is partially self-fertile, though it will crop even better with a nearby pollinating partner. A vigorous, spreading tree with strong scab resistance and very regular cropping.
